As a mom of two, who also struggled with postpartum depression with my first daughter six years ago, I know how painful it can be to be doing your very best while simultaneously feeling like you’re failing or can barely recognize yourself.
I love helping women and new moms struggling with the symptoms of anxiety, depression or ADHD, get their lives back.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, providing therapy to individuals in Westlake Village, Ventura, and surrounding areas for over twelve years. Formerly, I practiced under my maiden name Sasha Sloniker but changed my last name to McPherson when I married in 2016.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University. In addition to my private practice, I served adjunct faculty member at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two daughters at the beach, hiking, or riding bikes.
