Session fees vary depending on the length and type of service. I offer a reduced rate to new parents and clients who request this based on individual need. Please call for more information on reduced rates and a calculation of your insurance through Mentaya with your adjusted rate.
In an effort to be an insurance-friendly practice, I have partnered with Mentaya to help my clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Mentaya is easy to use, submitting your claims for you, keeping things as simple as possible for you. They only charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation. If you’re interested, use the tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.
If you prefer not to use Mentaya, I will provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement at your out-of-network rate. Please consult with your individual insurance provider for details regarding reimbursement rates.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, providing therapy to individuals in Westlake Village, Ventura, and surrounding areas for over twelve years. Formerly, I practiced under my maiden name Sasha Sloniker but changed my last name to McPherson when I married in 2016.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University. In addition to my private practice, I served adjunct faculty member at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two daughters at the beach, hiking, or riding bikes.
