Seeking support can be a difficult decision, but one that can be well worth the efforts. Whether your growth is personal through individual therapy, or you're working through the challenges of parenting or having a new baby, or have the goal to improve your relationship through couples work, committing to therapy can help you get there. I believe we are truly our best selves when we gain insights and understanding into how our past experiences impact the present, learn what to do to make the change we want to see in our lives, and build the support system we need to keep growing and have a life we're excited about.
I have specialized training and experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression and ADHD. Additionally, I have specialized training and experience focused in the areas of perinatal mental health, maintaining “coupleship” after baby, and positive parenting skills. I am also the co-creator of Thrive After Baby, offering online courses designed to help new & expecting parents prepare and strengthen their relationship, individual identities, and mental health after baby. As a mom of two sweet and hilarious girls I am familiar with the challenges of the transition to parenthood, maintaining coupleship after baby, and finding balance after kids. With my warm and direct approach, I aim to help you gain the insight and tools necessary to meet your goals.
I offer traditional in-person sessions as well as convenient, online video sessions. We can discuss which option may be the best fit for you during your free initial phone consultation. And because I recognize that the first year of life with your new baby can bring many expected and unexpected challenges, I offer a reduced rate for new moms so you don't stop taking care of your needs while taking care of your new baby. Remember, taking care of yourself as a new parent IS taking care of your baby!
Although change doesn't happen overnight, I have seen my clients gain insight, make adjustments, and learn tools that have truly changed their lives. Therapy takes some work, but change is possible. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and helping you reach your goals!
